Just wrapping up my time at the Weatherhead School of Management. It was a great session with executives in my class Drawing Ideas and Modeling Change.
Mies van der Rohe said, "Architecture is the will of the age conceived in spatial terms" (1923 Working Theses). Having now visited Weatherhead, I am not surprised that they are so enthusiastic about embracing design methods into the culture of management. Their progressive vision of management is evident in the progressive architecture of their building: the will of the institution conceived in spatial terms. Impressive!
